Tesla earnings call data shows nearly half of Musk's remarks now focus on AI and robotics, while car-related topics have dropped below one-third.

Musk said in the Q1 2024 earnings call: “If you just look at Tesla as a car company, that is fundamentally the wrong framework. If you don't believe Tesla can achieve autonomous driving, I don't think you should invest in this company.”
Taneja said in the Q2 2026 earnings call: “The path to a more abundant future is always full of challenges and requires bold bets. Our progress will not be a straight line, but the future will definitely be very bright.”
